Playa La Fossa
Length: 1.2 km · Ideal for: Families, all ages
The longest and widest beach in Calpe. Fine white sand, clear water and every facility: sunbeds, parasols, beach bars and lifeguards. Blue Flag every year. An 8-minute drive from our apartments in Calpe.
Tip: In high season, arrive early (before 10:00) for the best spot.
Playa Arenal-Bol
Length: 0.6 km · Ideal for: Couples, photographers, snorkellers
Right at the foot of the Peñón de Ifach. The view of the rock from the water is unique. Quieter than La Fossa, more compact and therefore fills up faster in high season.
Tip: Snorkel right next to the rock face, where marine life is richer.
Cala del Mallorqui
Length: 0.2 km · Ideal for: Those seeking peace, confident swimmers
A small cove north of Calpe, barely known to tourists. Crystal-clear water and rocks for sunbathing. No facilities, so bring water and sun protection.
Tip: Reached via a footpath. Combine it with the Peñón walk.
Playa del Cura
Length: 0.5 km · Ideal for: Town lovers, winter visitors
Torrevieja's most popular beach, within walking distance of the centre and the promenade. Blue Flag, lifeguards, beach bars. Our apartments in Torrevieja are a 5-minute walk away.
Tip: Take an evening dip after dinner: the beach is lit up and quiet at night.
Playa La Mata
Length: 3.5 km · Ideal for: Families, those seeking peace
One of the longest beaches on the southern Costa Blanca. Wide, quiet and less touristy than central Torrevieja. Ideal for families who want space.
Tip: Early in the morning the beach is almost empty, perfect for a walk along the water.
Playa de los Locos
Length: 0.4 km · Ideal for: Locals, snorkellers
Popular with Torrevieja residents. A little less touristy than Playa del Cura, with a relaxed atmosphere. Good for snorkelling along the rocks at either end.
Tip: Head here when Playa del Cura is too busy.
