- What is the Costa Blanca and where is it?
- The Costa Blanca (White Coast) is a coastal region of more than 200 kilometres in the province of Alicante, in south-east Spain. The region is known for over 300 days of sunshine a year, crystal-clear water, white limestone cliffs and picturesque fishing villages. Well-known towns include Alicante, Benidorm, Calpe, Altea, Moraira, Javea and Torrevieja. The flight from Amsterdam takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.
- When is the best time to visit the Costa Blanca?
- May, June, September and October are ideal: pleasantly warm (22-28°C), quiet beaches and lower prices than in summer. The low season is on average 20-30% cheaper than the high season. The high season (July and August) offers the warmest weather, but also the biggest crowds. Winter (November to March) is mild (12-18°C) and perfect for spending the winter in the sun or for anyone looking for peace and quiet.
- What are the most beautiful places on the Costa Blanca for a luxury stay?
- The most exclusive spots are Altea (a picturesque hilltop village with blue domes), Calpe (the Peñón de Ifach, crystal-clear water, quieter than Benidorm), Moraira (small-scale, no mass tourism) and Javea (three beaches, a marina and everything you need). Torrevieja has a charm of its own with its pink salt lakes and lively international atmosphere.
- Is the Costa Blanca suitable for a family holiday?
- Absolutely. The Costa Blanca is one of the most family-friendly coastal regions in Spain. There are child-friendly sandy beaches, water parks (Aqualandia near Benidorm), safe swimming pools and excellent restaurants with children's menus. All our apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space for families. Get in touch if you need a baby cot or high chair.
- How far are the beaches from the apartments?
- La Terraza, El Jardín and Rincón (Calpe) are an 8-minute drive from the La Fossa and Playa del Arenal beaches. Costa Azul and Palmeras Puerto (Torrevieja) are a 5-minute walk from Playa del Cura. Casa Martine (Noordwijk) is a 4-minute walk from the beach.
- Can I use the Costa Blanca as a base for day trips?
- Yes, definitely. From Calpe or Torrevieja you can reach the historic city of Valencia (City of Arts and Sciences, Mercado Central) in 1.5 hours. Alicante itself is well worth a visit (Santa Barbara Castle, the Rambla). Guadalest, Altea and Moraira make lovely day trips from Calpe. And for nature lovers, the Serra de Bernia and Montgó Natural Park are close at hand.
Booking & payment
- How do I book a stay?
- You can easily book through our website. Choose your accommodation, select your arrival and departure dates, fill in your details and send your request. Within 2 hours you will receive a confirmation by email with the payment details.
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- We accept payment by bank transfer (IBAN). When you book, you pay a 30% deposit, and the remaining balance is due 60 days before arrival.
- Is there a security deposit?
- Yes, for our Spanish apartments there is a security deposit of €200 to €500 depending on the accommodation, and €750 for Villa Coco de Luxe. It is refunded within 7 days of your departure, provided there is no damage.
- Are there any extra costs on top of the rental price?
- The price per night excludes final cleaning (€60–€150 depending on the accommodation) and the Spanish tourist tax (€0.45–€2.25 per person per night). There are no other hidden costs, we believe in transparent pricing.
- Is the price cheaper than on Airbnb or Booking.com?
- Yes! By booking directly with us you save the service fees charged by Airbnb (6–12%) and Booking.com (15–18%). You always pay the lowest price and enjoy personal contact.
Cancellation & changes
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival, and you get your full deposit back. If you cancel between 60 and 14 days before arrival, you receive a credit voucher for a future stay. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, the full rental amount is due. We recommend taking out travel insurance.
- Can I change my booking?
- Yes, changes are free of charge up to 30 days before arrival, provided the new dates are available. Contact us at info@luxuryapartmentscostablanca.nl or call +31 6 29 302 723.
Arrival & departure
- What time can I check in?
- Check-in is from 16:00. If you would like to arrive earlier, please get in touch; if the apartment is free, we will do our best to arrange an early check-in.
- What time do I need to check out?
- Check-out is by 10:00 at the latest. Late check-out (until 14:00) is available on request for an extra €30, depending on occupancy.
- How do I get the key?
- For all our apartments we arrange a personal check-in, where we welcome you and show you around the apartment. Beforehand, you will receive detailed arrival instructions by email.
- Is there parking?
- All accommodations have free parking. Villa Coco de Luxe even has a private parking space for 2 vehicles. The Torrevieja apartments have their own parking garage.
Facilities & surroundings
- Is WiFi available?
- All accommodations have fast WiFi (at least 100 Mbit/s), included free of charge in the rental price.
- Are pets welcome?
- We welcome small pets (max. 10 kg) in most accommodations by prior arrangement. A supplement of €25 per stay applies. Please get in touch to confirm this with your booking.
- How far are the beaches?

- Is there air conditioning?
- Yes, all accommodations are equipped with air conditioning and heating for a comfortable stay all year round.
- Are bed linen and towels provided?
- Yes, all accommodations include fresh bed linen and towels. Beach towels are available on request.
